Regional Sales Manager

Technical project sales in Latin America

Build, extend and maintain markets within the aqua feed industry

You will report to the Sales Director, and your sales responsibility will include all solutions offered by Graintec. Solutions range from full scale engineering of production facilities and processing lines, to upgrades for higher quality, better energy efficiency, odor or waste reduction. Your main responsibility will be to successfully build, extend and maintain relations with customers in Latin America. Your primary tasks will be:

  •  Analyze, plan and execute go-to-market strategy
  • Identify and engage new customers in the region
  • Technical advice and clarification
  • Carry out the commercial sales process, negotiate the contract and secure commercial terms and conditions
  • Coordinate with Graintec’s knowledge centers during pre-engineering and quotation

You will join a strong sales team that consists of other regional sales managers, technical experts and internal sales specialists, that you will collaborate with in all phases of the sales process. Your place of work will be in the company address in Vejle, Denmark, and you will be travelling approx. 60-70 days per year.

Technical background - commercial mindset

Ideally, you have minimum 5 years of experience with technical B2B project sales, enabling you to act as technical advisor and sparring partner for Graintec’s customers. You hold a degree in engineering at BA level or higher, and have a good understanding of the most relevant processes (i.e. drying, extrusion, material handling, hygienic design and similar). Knowledge of the aquafeed or pet food industry is an advantage.

It is important that you have a commercial mind-set, but it is equally important that you have technical knowledge and analytical skills that enable you to understand the customers’ needs. You are confident, result-oriented and you know that patience is necessary to succeed in project sales.

As a person you are an efficient communicator and negotiator, you build trust among your stakeholders and maintain long-term relationships.

You enjoy working in an international environment, and you comfortably use Spanish and English as your professional language.
