Process technology and equipment for end customers



Managing and developing your own market area in Europe

With budgetary responsibilities, you manage and develop your market area and your customers, who will primarily be manufacturing companies in the rendering, agro-, food and beverage industries. You will prepare action plans and handle sales in relation to all projects in your areas – ranging from smaller scale equipment to large turn key solutions. You will manage all aspects of the sales process from the first contact to signed contract. When the contract has been completed, our project managers will take over until final delivery. Your primary tasks will be:

  • Carry out the commercial sales process, negotiate the contract and secure commercial terms and conditions
  • Handle technical clarifications in cooperation with your technical colleagues in the sales team ensuring that customers get the solution, that matches their individual needs and demand
  • Maintain customer relations and ensure possibilities for future sales projects
In all phases of the sales process, you will ensure a strong collaboration with your colleagues, and you will support the Project Managers in terms of clarification in the project phase. You will report to the Sales Director, and you will become a part of a strong sales team consisting of 16 colleagues ranging from Area Sales Managers, Sales Assistants to Back Office Coordinators. You will also have a close cooperation with proficient Project Managers and other technically capable colleagues in the Project Department. Your place of work will be the company address in Haarslev or Herlev, and you will be travelling approx. 80-100 days per year.

Expertise and experience in international sale of processing technology and equipment

Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in international sales of processing technology and equipment within in rendering, agro-, food and beverage industries – or other types of processing equipment. Alternatively, you have built your experience in a technical sales og project management role, and you now seek independent commercial responsibility. You probably hold a degree in mechanical engineering, og have a similar educational background.

It is essential that you have business acumen, a commercial mindset and strong negotiation skills. You are trustworthy and outgoing, and therefore you thrive and excel in a role that builds and maintains long-term customer relationships. Furthermore, you are result oriented, and you know that perseverance and patience are necessary elements to succeed in project sales. 

You enjoy working in international environments, and you are fluent in oral and written English. It is an advantage, if you speak one other language.
